Our Story
It was a clear black night, a clear white moon.
Lauren was looking for some wine, trying to consume.
She decided to take a plunge and meet up with Cory
And that, ladies and gents, was how we started our story.
They kept hanging out, almost every night.
After months and months, everything seemed right.
Hank and Frank met each other and after a barking fit.
Cory got on one knee and said, "let's do this sh..." "will you marry me?"
The Pre-event Event
We heard you're going to be in Santa Barbara on Friday and you were super thirsty, so, like, we chartered a private yacht to tour the Santa Barbara coastline for everyone. Join us for an hour and a half of drinks, light appetizers, and picture perfect sights (our faces, duh). The boat leaves at 4:30 PM PT and everyone will need to be in your finest Yacht Rock attire and ready to go 20 minutes early. There is minimal parking on the pier itself and a parking lot at the base of the pier if you're one of those "well, where do I park?" kind of people, but we recommend getting an Uber.

Friday, June 21st, 2024
- 4:10 PM PT - Board Azure Seas yacht off the Stearns Wharf pier.
- 4:30 - 6 PM PT - Sail around Santa Barbara's coast and enjoy light appetizers, wine, and beer.
- 6 PM PT - Enjoy all the sights Santa Barbara has to offer and rest up for the big day!
Saturday, June 22nd, 2024
We booked a trolley for easy transportation to get to the event and do a bit of sight seeing on your way. The trolley will have two pickup places: Santa Barbara Inn and Lavender Inn by the Sea. Plan to be at one of these locations to catch a ride with the group. Please note that each trolley has a max capacity and we might need to do some organization on who goes where. Stay tuned on that.
- 3:20 PM PT - Trolley #1 pickup at Santa Barbara Inn.
- 3:20 PM PT - Trolley #2 pickup at Lavender Inn by the Sea.
- 4:00 PM PT - Ceremony at The Mural Room in the Santa Barbara Courthouse.
- 4:50 PM PT - Depart Mural Room and head to Santa Barbara Wine Collective on board one of two trolleys.
- 5 PM PT - Enjoy cocktail hour while we go get pictures and stuff.
- 6:30 PM PT - Dinner is served!
- 10 PM PT - Reception at SB Wine Collective concludes. After-event Event begins. Details to come.
FAQs
How am I supposed to get there?
Great question! We recommend flying into Santa Barbara Airport or into LAX. The drive from LAX is about 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic, so renting a car is recommended unless you really like sitting in an Uber.
Ok, I'm here. Where am I supposed to stay?
Great question! We recommend the El Encanto hotel, the Santa Barbara Inn, and the Lavender Inn By The Sea.
I'm in Santa Barbara. Now what?
Great question! We will have a trolley taking folks to/from the SB Wine Collective and the SB Courthouse. These will run approximately every 30 minutes.
Ok, so we're in Santa Barbara and we have a hotel, but we need to know what to wear.

Is this Garden Party Chic wedding adults-only?
Great question! Yep, mostly with a few exceptions. Look, our kids are only invited because they're in the wedding. We love your kids, but feel free to take that weekend away and spend some quality "you" time together. You know you want to. Hubba hubba.
Things To Do
Urban Wine Trail
If you're into wine, and you likely are since we're friends, check out the Santa Barbara Urban Wine Trail. We personally can't think of a better way to get to know Santa Barbara than by drinking your way through it. Chances are you'll see us at one of the stops!
Hiking
If you're one of "those" people that likes hiking, we hear SB has amazing places to hike. Check out the Santa Ynez Mountains or take a day trip to the Channel Islands National Park for some premier hiking spots and amazing views of the city.
Beaches & Parks
If you want to check out where Cory popped the question and where Cory almost popped the question, look no further than the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden and Butterfly Beach.
Go hang with Oprah
While we don't recommend stalking Oprah, she does live in the next town over called Montecito along with numerous others you've likely seen on TV. Head over to the Montecito Coffee Shop and you might spot the Queen of all media sharing a Clevr latte with the Prince of England.
Go try to see some whales
As seen in the picture above, the Double Dolphin is an amazing way to see the California coast, the sunset, Lauren's pretty face, and maybe some whales if you're lucky. Be sure to bring something warm as it can get chilly at night!
